The Little Black Fish is extending out of the Fringe Festival and will be performed at McMaster University on October 4th and 5th. We are also taking invitations to perform it in other locations, and have already been invited to Germany and [somewhere in the states] to perform, so please get in touch if you would like us to perform the show!
This show is about the stories of folks from the Iranian diaspora who are Queer and live(d) daily lives of being persecuted for it.
Transnational Feminist Dialogues: Intersecting Struggles in the Wake of the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’

The conference aims to build connections among researchers, activists, and artists who are engaging with the “Woman Life Freedom uprising” in Iran and supporting gender, sexual, and trans rights activism internationally. We intend to highlight the events of September 2022, when the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising in Iran ignited a global movement against gender inequality, patriarchy, capitalism, religious nationalism, and authoritarianism.
